Oct 14, 2007 - SNN vs.Milan 8 - 2

Easy victory.

I don't think this team has done much training.

I did not recognize any names on their team from practice sessions at TIM.

They did not seem to have an organized defensive plan.

There were several occassions when our attackers went downfield unopposed.

I think the only times that they penetrated our defense and got
close to our goal was when we did not know the ball was in play.

There were at least a couple of instances where they started their attack
while we were just standing, waiting for a faceoff or kick from the sidelines.

There was lack of communication from the referee.
Maybe he should have a start-stop whistle or light that everyone can hear or see.

From now on, to be safe, we should assume that the ball is is play
whenever an opponant has the ball on our side of the field.

For Defenders;

There was at least one occassion when their attacker got past all our defenders
and should have had an easy goal. (for some reason one of them froze for a couple of seconds).

As a general rule I think there should always be at least two players (one being the goalie)
between the ball and our goal at all times.

If you are not actively engaging the attacker, try to position yourself in the attackers likely path.
